Fixing an Error 05 problem.

This problem is simple to fix, just follow the instructions below step by step.

1) Open up the Abby software how you normally would.
2) In the upper left hand corner of the software, you should see a small icon that looks like a "C:\" Right click on this icon and select properties from the menu. (Figure 1).

Note: If you do not see this icon, and your Abby Software is taking up the top half of your screen, see steps 6 and 7 on this page, and set the property to window. Then start from step 1.

3) Once in the property screen you should have 4 tabs at the top (Options, Font, Layout, and Colors). Click on the third tab (Layout), and make sure the Screen Buffer Size and Window Size match figure 2.

4) Now go to the first tab (Options), and in the Display Options box, select either full screen, or window depending on which way you would like the program to run. (Figure 3).

5) Hit OK at the bottom, and it will prompt you how you want to apply these settings. Select the bottom option to save for future windows as well. (Figure 4).

6) Exit out of the software and then right click on the icon you use to access the Abby software, and select properties. (Figure 5).

7) Select the "Screen" tab, and depending on if you wanted full screen or windowed, set the same property here as well. (Figure 6).

8) Hit OK and now when you open your Abby Rating software, it should work fine without the Error 05."

HINT: You can toggle Abby software between Full Screen and Windowed mode at any time by holding the Alt key and hitting Enter.
